Would it be possible to
Would it be possible to include CVS browse capability via web, like it was available on SourceForge?
It is a great way of quickly checking if there is something new, get previous version of some file, and compare it with current.

Yes, that is a good idea,
Yes, that is a good idea, one of the things we took for granted when this was hosted at SourceForge. We're still ironing out the extras like this. Stay tuned for this kind of thing in the future.
The closest thing we have at the moment (perhaps good enough for gauging activity?) is the snapshot area, which at least tells you the last time there was an update since it refuses to push a nightly that is identical to the latest one (though you'd have to examine the nightly tarball to see its differences).

You don't have permission to access /snapshots/openmotif-nightly.tar.gz on this server.
Plus, there are no modifications since Dec-17-2009; could be the case, but I hoped for some news.

Sorry, I've fixed that
Sorry, I've fixed that permissions bug.
You are correct; there have been no modifications in the past month+ (the move from SourceForge being partially to blame). Also note the text at the bottom of the snapshots page which (currently) notes Last snapshot examined Fri Jan 15 01:00:27 2010, showing that it is up to date.
If you have specific needs that you'd like addressed within the source tree, try talking about them somewhere on the forums. There is some forward momentum on the project itself even if there aren't frequent code check-ins.
To re-address your initial request, we now have the latest version of ViewVC up and running on that server: http://cvs.openmotif.org/viewvc

Thanks for the CVS browsing,
Thanks for the CVS browsing, just what i needed.
I think you should add this to the OpenMotif announcement home page, otherwise some people won't find it.
As to the forward momentum, there is still a number of open bugs in bugzilla, hope the developers take it from there.

Sorry, Adam, but as of this
Sorry, Adam, but as of this writing, http://cvs.openmotif.org gives a simple "Nothing Here!" page, and every other URL given produces a 404 Not Found error.
